Established in 2019, Atticus Consulting began by offering recruitment and business support to small sports organisations on a voluntary, ad-hoc basis.

What started off as support and advice around advertising, job descriptions, interview preparation, and funding proposals, quickly morphed into assisting with shortlisting, pre-screening candidates, and offering support and guidance around governance and leadership.

In July 2024, with requests for support increasing, a decision was made to expand our services, offering a professional consulting service with a difference - providing cost-effective, bespoke options to meet an organisation's needs irrespective of its size and budget.

 

With oversight of the sport and recreation portfolio in a previous role and as a former Head of Physical Education, Iain has established strong relationships with key influencers across the sector and had an excellent understanding of the physical and financial constraints experienced by sporting organisations across New Zealand.
